Why are there 360 degrees in a circle?
There are 360 degrees in a circle maybe because the Christmas Day (December 25th) is in the 360th day in the calendar in a year. And the architects of our modern calendar ensured that we would never forget when the sun begins its journey back to the Equator after the Winter Solstice.

I believe there's 360° in a circle because of what the standard measure was. And in additional research I found out that this came from the Babylonians who used 60 as their base number instead of 10.
